“A collaboration must always yield something: one and one must be more than two!” Richard van der Windt of DWG describes the possibilities that DWG’s partnership with Prospact offers. Although the working fields of both companies overlap significantly, there are certainly many aspects in which both organizations complement each other.
Same service, different sectors
Richard: “Prospact mainly focuses on process automation for the food sector. DWG also has their focus on the food sector, but considerably less. On the other hand, we work for other sectors, such as infrastructure, energy companies and oil & gas. Prospact operates a lot in Brabant and in the East of the country: DWG works more in the West and in the North.”
DNA & trust
In any case, a big similarity between DWG and Prospact is the ‘DNA’. Richard: “We have known each other for a long time. We have the same mentality and there is trust. The personal bond preceded the business relationship. The perspective is also clear to both of us. We want to expand our possibilities in the food sector. And we want to gain a foothold in the Southeast of the Netherlands. It is nice for Prospact to have a great partner at its side, so that from now on customers can also be offered a total package.”
Rotterdam roots
DWG is originally a Rotterdam-based company, with about one hundred and twenty employees. They originated from Imtech and, in addition to an office in Schiedam, they now also have offices in Zaandam and Den Bosch. As with Prospact, the automation systems supplied to clients are often based on Siemens’ PCS7.
Food industry integrator
Prospact combines the expertise in the field of PCS7 with extensive experience in multidisciplinary projects in the food industry, in accordance with ISA88 standards. In addition, Prospact is also a specialist in the Siemens TIA portal with Aveva above it as an operational layer. The organization is pragmatic and can therefore switch quickly. From a passion for technology, processes are translated for clients. The combination not only results in the best PCS7 integrator for the food industry, but now also in the largest. The collaboration also promotes broader aftercare, optimizations and processing for clients.
